Why not go large when it comes to looking at websites on the internet? A silly question you may think but would you be happy looking at a television screen that was only 3 inches in size all day long?
So there you are looking at your big TV set, with all that heavenly glory that goes with it when it comes to not only the visual benefits but also the next best thing to a visit to your local cinema for that big screen experience. And yet many people these days will be more than happy to look at a website on a smartphone screen, or a tablet, rather than invest in a decent size laptop or a PC, (Personal Computer), because many will say you cannot carry a PC in your pocket. True enough when it comes to the portability factor while out and about all day long, but is it a practical thing to do when looking through a website while walking into people like many do these days? Having to dodge someone in the street as they walk into you because they are looking at their phone is more than a common problem these days, but that as they say is another story. I still say a mobile phone is more than ideal to send or receive phone calls and text messages but not at all ideal to do when looking at a website. When it comes to looking at a website I will always say that sitting at home, or maybe in a library as a perfect example, and being comfortable is far more better to do than sitting on a park bench looking at your smartphone in the pouring rain. Smartphones have come a long way over the years but the problem of looking at a website on a small screen will never be the same for a number of reasons. Eyestrain and not being able to see a website how it was originally made, regarding the layout, being just two things to make a note of. You can of course enlarge what you see on a smartphone screen and also view in mobile and original website format but that still does not help to overcome what you see as it is for sure not the same as how a website was made to be viewed on a more practical larger screen. In many cases you will see the layout of the contents on those web pages looking somewhat silly which of course is not the case if viewed on a PC or Laptop. Many people now try to adapt their websites to give a better viewing experience, for both those who use a PC or a smartphone, but trying to adapt a website to suit a small mobile screen will never be the same. Therefore I will still continue to say - go large or you will miss all that heavenly glory. For a variety of subjects on all sorts of things on this site click >HERE< Comments are closed.
